Woodenland Toy Club Member Agreement & Safety Policy

Welcome to Woodenland Toy Club. Our Toy Club is built on trust and care. These guidelines help ensure every family enjoys safe, high-quality toys. By participating in the Toy Club, you agree to the following terms and safety guidelines.

1. Age Requirement

Woodenland Toy Club is designed for children ages 3 and older.

Some toys may contain small parts that present a choking hazard. These toys are not suitable for children under 3 years old.

By participating in the Toy Club, you agree to:

  • Only allow age-appropriate children to use the toys
  • Keep all toys out of reach of children under 3, including younger siblings

2. Adult Supervision

All toys must be used under appropriate adult supervision.

Parents and caregivers are responsible for:

  • Monitoring how toys are used
  • Ensuring children use toys in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Intervening if play becomes unsafe

3. Safe Use of Toys

Toys should be used only for their intended purpose and in a safe manner.

Please:

  • Use toys for normal indoor play only
  • Avoid throwing, climbing, or misuse that could cause damage or injury
  • Keep toys away from water, sand, outdoor environments, and extreme conditions

If any toy becomes:

  • Broken
  • Cracked
  • Loose (including small parts)
  • Otherwise unsafe

Please stop use immediately and contact Woodenland Toys.

4. Shared Toy System

Woodenland Toy Club operates as a shared toy circulation program.

Toys are:

  • Rotated between families
  • Cleaned and inspected between uses

While we take care to maintain quality, shared toys may show normal signs of use.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • Shared toys carry inherent risks, similar to toys used in schools, libraries, or play spaces
  • Woodenland Toys does not guarantee that toys are free from all allergens, microbes, or environmental exposure

5. Responsibility During Use

While toys are in your care, you are responsible for:

  • Using toys in a safe and age-appropriate manner
  • Supervising children during play
  • Keeping toys away from younger children
  • Maintaining reasonable care of all items

You agree to accept responsibility for the safe use of toys while they are in your home.

6. Missing Pieces & Damage

Many toys include multiple components.

  • Occasional separation of small parts during play is understandable
  • If you find a missing piece later, you may return it during your next swap

However:

  • Toys returned with missing essential components
  • Toys that are severely damaged, broken, or unsafe for continued circulation

may result in a reasonable replacement fee.

Woodenland Toys will determine whether an item can safely remain in circulation.

7. Cleaning & Hygiene

All toys are cleaned and inspected between rotations using child-safe methods.

However, Woodenland Toys does not guarantee that toys are:

  • Completely free from germs, allergens, or environmental exposure

Participation in the Toy Club implies acceptance of these normal, shared-use conditions.

8. Returns & Replacement Policy

Our Toy Club is designed to be flexible and easy for families to enjoy. You are welcome to keep your toy crate as long as your membership is active.

If you choose to pause, skip, or cancel your membership, we ask that you return your current toy crate within 7 days after your current billing period ends.

If a crate is not returned within this timeframe, Woodenland Toys may charge the retail value of the items in the crate to the payment method on file. Woodenland Toys reserves the right to charge for lost, damaged, or unreturned items as outlined above.

If you need a little extra time, please feel free to reach out—we’re always happy to work with you when possible.

9. Assumption of Risk

By participating in Woodenland Toy Club, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Some toys contain small parts that may present choking hazards
  • All toys carry inherent risks when used by children
  • Safe use depends on proper supervision and appropriate handling

You agree to assume these ordinary risks associated with children’s play materials.

10. Agreement

By enrolling in Woodenland Toy Club and continuing to use the service, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood this agreement
  • You agree to follow all safety guidelines
  • You accept responsibility for supervising children and ensuring safe use of all toys
